Both older fired brass and unused Win brass got tight halfway into the FL die and very tight the rest of the way.
Even the neck expanding button gave more resistance than I'm used to.
Imperial case lube was used.
After about five new cases went through the die, a head pulled off.
There was no driving the case out with the depriming punch.
This was a new flat finish chrome, over soft steel, die set.
I assume a rough surface finish is at fault.
The company didn't respond to an email complaint so I returned the die.
I never had these problems with cheap, but good Lee dies.

Interior finish was bright and the die worked as it should.
Part of the problem with the .225 is the lack of an extractor cut in the case. This leaves little grip for a shell holder.
