Palma vs Non=Palma

Ok I have been doing research. What is the difference between a 308 win and the 308 win palma mag? I can't find research or literature on it anywhere. Is it a 308 shot in a palma meet? Thanks!

    The Palma match is shot with a .308 rifle at 800, 900, and 1000 yards.
    There are Palma chambers that are specialized for the event but they still meet .308 Win. specifications. The main change I know of is throating for the 155 grain bullet loaded to maximum OAL.
