I would like to shoot 60 to 70 gr. bullets in a 22-250. Will a 1-9 twist do the trick? Also anyone have a favorite load? thanks

Run the heavy weight with H-4350............
1-8" will stabilize the best BC bullets in .223 cal. I would say go 1-8" twist too.
go with an 8 twist or even better a 7 twist.
+1[:p] Down side, thin jacket varmint bullets watch your fps. They will vaporize coming out the barrel if you run them to to hot.
go with an 8 twist or even better a 7 twist.
In a .223 I would say yes, but with the higher velocities of a .22-250, the 9 will easily handle the 60-70 grain pills. Most factory rifles chambered in the .22-250 are 12 or 14's, but them are a crapshoot with anything heavier then 55-60 grains.
