Has anyone chronograhped any of the rebuilt French 50 ammo that J&G in Prescott sells?
After shooting it out to 1000 yards and working with a ballistics program, it is leading me to believe initial muzzle velocity is around 2600 fps?
since it is advertised as a 665 grain projectile I thought this was a bit slow, but using a bc of .41 to .5 (it should be somewhere in that range), the trajectory I am getting in the field is only fitting when I use 2600 fps as velocity.
so, just looking to see if anyone has any experience with that ammo, this is out of an M82A1. thnx
