Precision ogival bullets are more accurate at extreme range after being distorted from the round by hexagonal or octagonal Whitworth rifling and fired at high velocity.
Would you give credence to that statement without scientific proof?
Well, neither would I and can find a dozen theoretical and technical
reasons for doubt.
