took a crow out at 209 yards yesterday using 55gr vmax loaded with varget [:p] first reloads for this rifle that iv shot at a live target plus it was windy not bad if I do say so myself [:D]

    With a little practice and a calm day, crows should not be safe out to 350 yards with those reloads. Good for you, bad for crows. Keep after 'em.

    I love my 22-250. I use the 8208 XBR and 50gr or 55gr VMAX with excellent results. Perhaps I should play with Varget, too.

    How much 8208 with the 55gr?

    55 GR. IMR 8208 XBR .224" 2.350" 32.0 (min)...35.8 (max)

    My load is 35.5 with both the 50g and 55gr.

    I use Varget for my 45 grain Barnes TSX loads and it groups very well too. Varget is such a great all around powder. [:)]
