Not that.... Another Doe Down. I was sittin there about 7:30, thought I'd give the can a try just to see what would happen. As soon as I got it out and looked up here come 4 doe. The way they were headed would bring them right by my tree within feet. So I got up, drew and were following threw with them, firgured as they came by I'd get a good broad side or a good quartered shot. Unfortunately I had to shuffle my feet just a bit to get a better position when I did the doe I had picke out was 7yrds quartered to me and looked straight up at me. with a clear shot and knowing my bow well I stuck the pin in front of her shoulder and touched the release. it exited behind the last rib opposite side about belly line. she ran off over in front of a friend of mine that was hunting 50 yrds as a crow flies away. by the time I got there he was already draggin her for me. [:D]

Actually I have not been out since the trip. Job ends Nov 26th. and very busy breaking down the plant. I have been Job hunting and got one pretty quick concidering the economy sucks here. Now I can get down to business should start hitting it hard.. Glad to see everyone seems to be doing well.. Nice shooting.[;)] Snot weed[:D]

I've been meanin to call you just cause I haven't talked to you in a while but I've been busy as well. Glad to hear you have a job lined up. I am off to a decent start considering that was only my 3rd time out with the bow in my hand. Had the camera several times and now with the cold and Nov. comin I'm ready to hunt hard. Still have a ton of standing corn around here and all threw the state actually. Not sure how that will affect opportunities as the rut comes on.
Last year my hunting pardner called to tell me he shot a nice buck. Knowing what stand he was in I first asked if it stayed up on top or did it go down the 70 degree hill.[:D]
What is the black stuff on her coat, is it mud or the color of her hair ? My monitor sucks !
