Sunday afternoon I shot a nice 9 point. The only blood I found was where it ran into a swamp. After looking in the dark for 2 hours I called the deer dog recovery people. They hooked me up with a local tracker. Next morning he came over and in less than 10 minutes he and his dog had found my deer. I had walked 40yds. from it in the dark. The only ran 100 yds from the last blood. For a total of 200 yds. I got one lung, liver and guts. Was dead before I could get out of the tree I am sure.
By all means if you have exhausted all ways of recovering your deer, try the deer dog recovery. Also they charge nothing for their service as they run on donations.
