I just bought me a used GL2 for right at $1600. Its just a starter cam for me but it takes broadcast quality footage. My next will be the XHA1. I got 4 lenses, all the filters, Mic, light, 2 batteries, MA-300 adapter and other stuff I don't recall right now. For a cam the size of the GL2 you need a good arm. I'm going with the Hunter Cam cradle Pro. That runs right around $500.
Yes, I'm getting into it but not to make a living just cause I love the outdoors and film so why not do both and enjoy it. I'm going to film school this fall hope to learn a lot.
