What do you all use when puting in inserts to your arrows? Does it matter?

I used to use hot glue sticks on the aluminum and wood, now I use the epoxy on my carbon shafts.

Is a super glue type epoxy ok or a slow setting, manual mixing epoxy better?

I use a 2 part, never tried the super glue epoxy. If you think its equivalent it will probably work. Try it on 1 or 2 arrows and shoot them into a 3-d target a couple of times. If the inserts stay in place after you pull the arrow out of the target you should be good. Make sure you allow the epoxy to cure for a full 24 hrs before you shoot them.
