I was out on my nightly country cruise. I noticed a doe about 200 yards ahead of me in the road. I slowed and crept up to where I saw her. All of a sudden a fawn came running at me. I stopped and then the momma ran by me trying to catch up to the fawn. Then I noticed another big doe up ahead. Then I saw something else running. At first I thought it was another fawn but then realized it was a coyote. When it crossed the road, the other doe took off after it. I honked hoping to throw the yote off of a fawn. Not totally sure what was going on but hoping that all the fawns made it. Pretty neat to witness though.
