Game camera velvet buck

My brother lives in Blacksburg and sent me this picture of a buck he got on his game camera. He sees nice bucks every summer on his farm, but fall rolls around and they disappear (probably in the neighbors freezer)[;)]. He has food plots, persimmon trees and plenty of other food, but the bucks get scarce during the rut even though the does are there.
