I had seen a buck with only half a rack about a month ago during the evening while feeding the horses. He was in velvet then, but I could tell he only had one side of his rack. He showed up on the camera yesterday. I'm guessing he knocked off the other side when it was still soft. I hope he makes it to next season as he may be decent then if he grows both sides undamaged.
