    We're seeing some of the "big boys" bopping around chasing does in mid-day and open areas. Three more days until BOOM time. Had a little snow yesterday and temps are barely above freezing through the day so the rut should be full on by Saturday.
    I saw a nice buck 4 days ago about 1000 yards from my house and the UPS driver told me last night he saw (probably) the same buck 1/4 mile from my house the next evening. I only had 10x50 glasses and could see that buck has a high, white rack but I don't think he's got more than 8 points. He's a shooter for most anyone. I don't wish poor luck on other hunters but I hope the guys on the next place north don't get that one.
