Off to Osceola, Mo.

We are off to do the shoot in Mo. this Saturday. All my fair weather friends have found reasons to bow out. My son and I will be doing the trip alone. I did invite the wife. Her words were and I quote "Your crazy if you think I'm going to sit out in the hot sun all day and watch you shoot your bow".She will probably sneak off to the casino with one of her girl friends and spend all our money. LOL A small price to pay. My number one goal this week end is to have fun and shoot well enough to not look bad. This will be my first 3d shoot in four years. I hope it isn't like Noel Mo. That spelling may be incorrect. At that shoot it was strait up hill or strait down hill. The down part wasn't so bad it was walking back up that wore me out. [:o)]

    Your wife sounds a lot like mine! Everytime I leave the house to go south I come home to something new. Maybe this time it is my turn, go south this weekend maybe I will come home with a new truck. Probably another DODGE! I said the "D" word just for you Susp. [:D]

    gagirl I was working on an '02 Excursion with the 7.4 powerstroke but another salesman sold it before my salesman and I had anything worked out. I am actually going to buy whatever I can that has a min. of 4 doors and the best deal, new or used. Not opposed to any brand at this point. I have to get the wife a new ride as well[:(] 3 kids in the PT cruiser is a bit crowded.

    Boy, I sure wish I'd spoke up. I thought that guy from OK might be a GB memeber. I shot in the crossbow event and had a blast. It was my first 3d shoot. Unfortunately there was only one other shooter in my class. On a good note, I finished first with a score of 441 out of 480(I believe)possible. The trophys were awsome.

    It rained that morning, but by nine am, it started getting sultry and muggy with the sun coming out and no wind "down in the holler"
