what is the Term used when I buck whitetail is Curling his upper Lip and testing the air for a Doe that is in heat and ready to bread?

Curious to know if this is called curling?

    Welcome to the forum. Not real sure on your question, I see horses do it all the time but we have never called it anything that wasn't a little naughty.[:D] I'm sure some of the others on here will have a better answer for you.

    Lip curling is the lay- mans term for this behavior. Scientiest often refer to this as "FLEHMEING" this allows a buck to better determain what stage of estres a doe is in . Hope this helps and welcome to the forum.[;)]
