crossbow cocking device

anyone have a used handcrank type cocking device for a crossbow,,I'm getting a spinal cord stimulator implant,,and just cant see spending 200 dollars for one at this point,,Thanks for your help

I don't know much about Crossbows, Jim. Neither do most people on here. I would suggest looking at a forum for disabled shooters, as there are a helluva a lot of crossbow shooters out there that have been down this road before you.

I recently bought the Horton crank on EBay for $74.00, and I see them often for $100.00. They work great, you can crank it easily with one hand, and I highly reccomend it. I use a rope cocker usually, but in a tighter spot in a tree etc. the crank will come in handy. I have a 175 pound bow, and the only drawback is it is a bit cumbersome to put in a pocket etc. It automatically lines up the string which is great. I think it is easier on the bow too.

Goodluck! personally I'd get one from cabelas so you can return it if it isn't what you want.
