Depends on what county you hunt in here in Texas. Some counties allow 5 deer with up to 3 being bucks (all can be antlerless) other counties either 3 or 4 with only 1 or 2 bucks. If you hunt in more than 1 county with different limits, you have to use the correct tag for that county's limits. (Use the 1 buck county tag in the 1 buck county and the 2 buck county tag in a 2 or 3 buck county, you get the point). On top of that, land owners who have a certified land management program can apply for additional tags for their hunters to use.

Yup, but if they go to calling in your kill, i'll bet there will be alot of young bucks being called in as does.

depends on the county. I hunt in two counties because I live with in a quarter mile of the line. One of the counties is one deer only for the year. The other county is two deer, one must be anterless.

Well I bet Rhode Island is a good funnel between deer feeding in Connecticut, and bedding in Mass.

So which state allows the most? GA?

Not sure what West Virginia is now, but it's pretty high, least it used to be.

Ha Ha Ha Actually there are a lot of Deer here it's getting permission to get on to the private land. The rhode Island public would rather see them get hit by cars than let you step foot on there property. They think meat grows in the supermarket. If I did not have family here and roots I would move real quick. Either to Illinois or some where mid west. OH well thats what planes are for. If the deer cant come to you You go to them. You Guys are right though you have countys larger than this State.[:0][B)]

Where I hunt we can kill 3 does a day from opening day to the last day of season and I am not sure about bucks because we are only management hunting this year and last. In the area of my hunting property there is an abundance of deer (mostly does) That is how it was last year any way...we sat around the campfire last year and figured it up, it was something like 131 deer a piece including the few bucks that you could harvest.
It was nothing to see 20 or 30 deer last year, everytime you went in the woods!
