NAP Crossfire

Slash0311Slash0311 Member Posts: 1,676 ✭✭✭✭✭
I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to shoot these yet? I like the looks of them and I know NAP has been making good points for years. The reason I am wondering is if these dimples really help of if their just a gemick. I know that dimples help a golfball fly better. Something to do with the wind and air flow over the surface. I was just wondering. I currently shoot 125 gr Vortex and they fly well for me.

I'm surprised that a Mathews shots ANYTHING well![:D] Come on.... It's been a little boring around here the past few days so I had to say it.

On a serious note, for some reason these things just really get me fired up. I really like the looks of them. I might be hard pressed to give up my Vortex's but if I had to these would be what I shoot. Do you know of any advantages of shooting these over the Vortex? I'm at a point where I will need to invest a little in new blades for my Vortex and I was wondering about just going ahead and switching to the Crossfire.

Mechanicals require more kinetic energy to open, this wasted energy would otherwise be used in passing an arrow through the chest cavity of a deer using a fixed blade broadhead. I have nothing against mechanicals I have taken many deer with them, for me it was just time to try something new. If you were to switch over to a fixed blade the crossfires would definitely be a good choice.

There are so many good broadheads out there I have taken lots of deer with muzzys and they shoot well they are durable and you can change the blades when they get dull. Best of all they are about half the price of most other broadheads and in my opinion still one of the best. Has any one heard anything negitive about MUZZYS[?]
