at what distances do ya'll put your pins? my sight only has 3 pins so i set them at 10/20/30. however, i was thinking about maybe moving them to 20/30/40. but i dont' like to take 40 yard shots. that a bit too far for me. any input? change em? leave em the same?

its all about pucks and bucks
Ben
i can't add anymore pins. not easily anyway. i have the kind that have about 2 feet of fiberoptic cable wrapped around.
i kinda like the idea of 25 and 35 yards. i might try that and see how far off i am at 10 yards.

Why do ya need a 10 yard pin.[?][?]
I agree, 20 yard pin works great from 0 to at least 20. When I hunt I have a 20,30,and 40. When i'm at the club shooting I put on another pin because we have 2 targets that some of us shoot at from distances 55-80.

that just seems to be my average shot distance. i HATE estimating and like to be as accurate as possible. i used to have archers choice sights that had a 10/20/30/40/50. i can shoot that far, i just would rather not.

From 0-20 there shouldn't be over an inch difference, I know there's not on my bow.

My first pin is good to 30 yards, my second pin to 55, the third pin probably 75-80 yards, and the last two pins I moved to the bottom of the sight bracket as I don't need them. Hell, I don't use the third one either.
1 shot is all ya get so make it a " SUREKILL " (T/C Encore-/-Contender/ MATHEWS SWITCHBACK Shooter)
