How long before hunting season do you practice with your bow?

The day I got it which was about 1.5 months before. I practiced with the older ones for 6-8 months until that ^*^%head stole them.

its all about pucks and bucks

I usually just make sure my bow is sighted in, and shoot about 20-50 arrows before I go out my first time. I also like to shoot a quick round before I get in my tree in the afternoon.

Not nearly long enough. See my post about all of my shooting problems this year. It is TOTALLY my fault and that is why it cost me the first week of the season. I'm hitting better this week. I put 4 arrows in a 6" group at 30 yards last night. It's still not great but I'm getting better!

Ditto on shooting year round. Switch to all broadheads a couple weeks before the season.
