I am seriously considering getting a target bow for indoors and 3d, I just love shooting that much. :) Since I already got one new bow this year, and the sights and things will be more for a target bow, it would have to be a used bow. Now I am a poor college student, but you only live once.

So lets take a poll,

Should I purchase another bow?

    I'd get a high-quality recurve, but that's just me.

Black riser ,gray lims ,crome cams and cable side it's a pretty 1. $100.00 + shipping [:)]

1 shot is all ya get so make it a " SUREKILL " (T/C Encore-/-Contender/ MATHEWS SWITCHBACK Shooter)

My dad's friend has a Mathews Icon for sale. 2 sets of limbs, fully set up. I think he was asking $400. Dad was thinking about buying it for indoor, but has stuck with his switchback.

I hate to say this but AT would be a better place to ask about this. I am also looking into a 3d bow and honestly Hoyt and Matrin seem to be the top 2 from what I have found. Maybe the Newberry... anyway if you go there there are tons and I do mean TONS of them for sale. They are not cheap to get set up though. Good luck... let me know what you decide to get.

its all about pucks and bucks

I love the martin pro series bows. Shooting a septer II with fury x cams for the past three years and it is excelent. For target I am sticking with Martin. Hunting I love my Hoyt.

Mathews Ovation after all I assume you are not going into competition to come in second place. Oh and they do have quite the selection of target colors.

I was looking at them, but they were too short compared to what I wanted. And finding a target colored used one that I could afford was out of the question. The few year old target colored mathews seem really hard to come by. I probably should have bought a martin, which they are going cheaper and would have been better on my budget. But I have not shot one to know how they feel, the hoyt bows basically feel all the same to me so going from one bow to the other won't be such a drastic change. It will be a while before I have the money to put all the goodies on it and build me a bow press so I can work on the stuff myself. But hopefully by the end of November I can be shooting it.

Now the question comes up, how to tell the lady friend... She won't be to happy about this. [}:)][B)]
