archers enjoy or would enjoy shooting arrows out to 80 yards for score?
I think we should go to a 112 arrow game. That's 28 3-D targets from 11 feet to 80 yards. Four arrows per target, perfect score per target would be 20. Total game would be 560. All ethical hunting distances should be unmarked, all others should be marked.

Lets see who has the bow arm to 20 the 80 yard Buffalo or Elk target. I think 3-D needs a shot in the arm. What say you?

I think I would lose more arrows. [:D] In all serousness though, I just like having 3D in the woods, where a 20 yard shot is harder then hell cause you got 5 trees in the way and a big branch and there is a tree right in front of the right side of the 8 ring. Now that, that is 3D. Your scoring format would be exactly like field archery i believe. Also after pulling a 63 pound bow back 112 times or more, i would not be able to lift my arm.

I shot an NFAA field course which was almost what you are talking about. The longest target I ranged at 77 yards. Lots of up and down hill shots on this course. It was a real challenge. I was able to get out with all my arrows.

Most 3D stuff I went to this last summer, was 11,10,8 and 7 on some targets, then 5. So sometimes the scoring could go, 11,10,8,5. It really depends on ths shoot.

Question for Arrow Mechanic: My arrows pull to the right at about 65 mph do you think I need to check my wheel alignment? [:o)]
Hey Ehler Dave, you should leave it alone. You get a Robinhood in the "1" ring.

You are right on the scoring. You would have to shoot 50 pounds or so to enjoy it.

That what I said when I finished a game. I have all my arrows.
