Is it legal to own a crossbow in Iowa. NO hunting just target???????

    Crossbows are ileagle for hunting.... Unless you are phisiclly dissabled then you can apply for a permit... as far as owning one without a permit I would check with local and county laws. . you should be able to find out on the web...[;)]

    Yes you can have a crossbow in Iowa. You may also hunt with it if your disabled,Dr's. permit
