It was quite a long week, but my dad, father-in-law and I have almost finished my basement in 7 days. I know on tv they finish entire ouses in that time, but this was just one pro and 2 amatures working on it. I have done the family room in white ash http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f109/dcso3009/Basement_0091.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f109/dcso3009/Basement_0021.jpg, the hall in spruce bead board http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f109/dcso3009/Basement_0031.jpg , one bedroom has a knotty pine celing http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f109/dcso3009/Basement_0051.jpg and the other has pine on 3 of the wallshttp://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f109/dcso3009/Basement_0071.jpg
Left to do is doors, trim, paint (on sheetrock), and carpet. We counted up and figure it took 90 hours each to frame, sheetrock and pannel the walls, and do all the electrical work.

LMAO!!
Nice place...[;)]
The ash came from a small mill in northern Wisconsin for $1.90/sq ft. Not a bad price compared to many local places that were over $6. If anyone is close or has interest in my source, let me know.
