two more days of work tommorow and Monday then off to florida.

Heres my question have any of you guys ever killed a hog. and have had hog meat???? and how is it???

    Its horrible stuff I think you should send it to me so it can be properly disposed of[:D]. In all seriousness though I really do like it and it makes the best breakfast sausage.

    buckey, don't worry about the meat bro, it tastes GREAT! i have about 4 packs left in my freezer from some hogs my buddies killed back last year.

    mmm...i'm thinking about pork chops now [:)]

    Good Pork or Tuna

    i have had both and they are both pretty good, well the second one you have to be more carful with[xx(][xx(][xx(]

    I didn't kill it, the butcher did but I hauled it there. Meat was good bacon was outstanding.[:D]

    i had russian boar.....i think that's what it was. they were given samples out at a DU thing.mmmmmmmmmm it was good[^][:p]

    From my experience with wild hogs when you cook an old boar it smells like some one peed on the stove.Young boar is very similar to a deer.Most sows are the best pork anywhere.Just try to get the critter gutted and cooled quickly as possible after the kill.

    I've killed hogs before and ate pork, where you been eastcoaster? [;)]
    Oh, never killed a wild hog, but they sure acted wild when the .22 snapped.

    I ate some of my brothers wild boar, it didn't taste like chicken, but it sure tasted similar to regular farm raised pork with a slight gamey taste to it. Know what I mean? Sorta like a stronger taste.
