Got my bear with MY BOW and it was FANTASTIC!! Been a bow hunter for 8 months, so feel lucky to get a bear for my second bow kill. Practice is the key! I shot a block 4x4 so much that there is no place left to shoot it without going straight through.
Thanks to all of you that gave me good advice, espicially the ones who told me to get a ThermaCell. Wow, those things work and did not bother my bear at all. I am really pumped for Deer season now.
