To dang hot for tree rat hunting right now. The guy I deer hunt on likes me to clear as many squirrels as I can. They are tastey when wrapped in bacon and slow cooked on an open fire or fried and then make some gravey. I also can't wait for doves. Ever tried filleting the breast of the bone and battering them and deep frying? Dang good. Bacon wrapped also a favorite.
What kind of batter do you use. I still have some in the freezer that I need to get cooked up.
