Currently I have the older bushnell 400 from when they first came out still works great. however I am looking for a smaller model I can maybe fit in a pocket. dont want to spend a fortune which one do you folks have and how do you like it or dislike it and how much did it cost.

Well, I just switched to pins this year, and have previously only used pendulum. It is a fear of mine, but I think I'll just step off 35 yards in 3 or 4 directions, mark it with tape, and call it a day.

I don't use one, I step mine off and use orange marker tape on branches.
My buddy has a nikon monarc we use when we're shooting rifles or huntin coyotes, it's small and compact and sure works nice.

I use a similar method only with rows of crops. I have regularly hunt fence rows. Although this method screwed me last year in Novemeber, I wasn't paying attention to the rows, and shot about 2 feet over the doe i was shooting at. I put my 27 yard pin on her, she was only about 25 feet from my stand. [:(]

I use a Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport 450. I carry it with me when I go shoot or hunt. Better safe than sorry. I like it and it isnt very large. I wanna step up to one of the new Leupolds with the inclinometer or something like that in it.
