    well if a nice hog comes under my stand I wont be upset. Going hog hunting on the 2nd at that new place. Derr season starts the 9th. I am not adverse to takeing either one.

    Dude man the dove are flyin crazy right now. I have seen large flocks. can't wait to get some dove on the grill. I have one question tho. Does season start on the 1st? I can't find it on the DNR site.

    Sept. 1. They really screwed up the DNR fields around Lake Shelbyville. They moved the distance between hunters to a absurd distance. The 3 fields we hunted 2 years ago by Allenville held about 120 hunters. This year they will let in @ 40.[:(!] I won't even try for the draw. They turned away that many that year. Guess I'll just have to shoot geese.

    BTW, The new digest books are out. They have started a CWD zone. Boone, McHenry, Ogle, and part of DeKalb north of 88. $5.50 for OTC tags for 1-12 thru1-14.
