I'm looking for some decent, quit rain gear for hunting. Does anyone have any advice? Items to look at or stay away from? Thanks.

I got a set of rain gear from browning also, I really like it. It's going on 3 years old and has held up much better than the ones I had before these.

I have a couple sets of Redhead Squaltek that have been kept me warm and dry in conditions that made me question my sanity. The Cabela's packable set is worth the little extra it costs. Keep in mind the even the most expensive set is not made for trail blazing through thorny thickets.

I dont usually hunt when it is pouring that hard, and my regular gear is pretty water proof. however I did buy one of those umbrellas that mount to the tree about 10 years ago wore the first one out, and bought another. I think these things are awsome especially in that light all day drizzle you stay nice and dry.. I would urge anyone to get one you wont be dissapointed... sets up in seconds weights a couple of pounds...[;)]

i have three of the umberalla type they work real well also make a good blind to hide behind if your on the ground
