2006 Illinois Deer Classic Pics

Well it took me long enough to figure out kodak's new CD format. Anyway enough excuses.
Here's some trophy buck picks from the deer classic I went to in Bloomington last february. These are the 2005-2006 Illinois bucks. In the first pic the buck on the left is 255"er with 5 brow tines!!![:p][:p][:p] I have 3 more if you guys want to see them? But these are the best. Just let me know?

    Well hell this aint nothin new to you guys then. I was suprised to find out how many hunters I know, that weren't there.

    A friend of mine had his archery one on display up there. I think he got 2nd. I don't go because there are too many people there. I don't like crowds and I think that 90% of the population are idiots. If you get 10000 people in one area, that's alot of idiots.[:D]

    There are a lot of people thats for sure. They have some killer deals there tho if your looking to buy something. I could have bought a lone wolf climber for $100 less than regular price. Lesson learned, always go with plenty of money.

    Man don't you just find it amazing that that many big deer are taken every year but yet there are still 100s of thousands of deer here. Just amazing to me. I know the population is growing in this area I see more deer around here now than I ever have and we don't have many trees around just small short tree lines.

    I hear ya Bang. I'm going out friday for the first time. I have a hard time getting to sleep(keep thinking about hunting when I go to bed).I have a week off starting friday.[:)][:D][:p]But I only have public land to hunt.[:(!]

    I'm headed out tomorrow after work for 4 days in the woods. can't wait! And man, don't worry your not alone.....I too am losing sleep and when I do sleep I am seriously dreaming about hunting. [:I][:D][;)]
