Giant Bow Bull Elk Kill.........World Record?

This Elk was killed with a bow in the Selway-Bitterroot
Wilderness. He [Mark Moreland] purportedly green scored 575" and should net out at about 530" non typical. He has and unbelievable outside spread of 79". This [Mark Moreland] purportedly is the biggest bull ever taken with any weapon.

As far as Im concerned they shouldnt count any pen animals, or give them the recognition for records. North of me there is a farm where you can pick out the animal you want and they charge up to $20000 if you can believe that, and they brag about 100% success rates.

I posted some stuff on this bull on the General Forum. Nice bull but steroids and high fences don't make a trophy.

Still an awesome animal. An elk hunt out west is one of my dream hunts. Elk and muley are 2 that I hope to experience before my hunting days ore over.
