I know, I know, small, but together they are BIG!
It was raining heavy in on Sat. am. I was just getting ready to get down out of the stand and 8 does came out of the wood line about 100yards. They made a bee line right to my stand. I pulled back on the biggest one which was abot 12' from my tree and shot down on the left side of the spine, and out the chest....40 yards and down....but, none of the other does moved. Soooooo, I knocked another arrow and took another broadside at 27 yards.....35 yards and down. Still, none of them moved. I wanted to get out of the rain, so I climbed down, and ended up having to yell at them to get them to leave....if only bucks acted this way!
they gutted out at 75#'s and 81#'s.

Ben
congrats on the "two-fer", that's pretty awsome.
So I am planning on entering one of these deer into the contest, but had a question....Does each team member get to enter 1 doe and a buck, or is it 1 doe and a buck for the whole team?
i understood it to read a buck and doe per team member.
