draw

Okay, here's what happened tonight. Nice weather aout 30-40, NO WIND. And you can hear a pindrop a mile away. I had a good 15+ " spread buck come in at 30 yards, he came into bow range at 20 looking the opposite direction, I drew my bow and he galloped three steps and walked out of bow range...I know he didn't hear me. So when is the best time to draw on them? I even tried when he was behind a tree but he stopped as I was pulling back he must have noticed me.

Also he never blew, so a good place to hunt in the a.m.?
