My friend's dad shot an 8 point albino buck here in Minnesota. I am waiting on pictures, but was told it is a true albino with pink nose, eyes, and everything! It was just caped out on Monday for a full body mount.
Update
I finally got a picture of the albino buck. I'm sure you all understand... he is on dialup and did not have the time between hunting and his 6 month old daughter.

Just a quick search and found it is illegal in your state too.

I also found a reg. I thought was strange. You are not allowed to take deer from a stand that is constructed above 16 feet. That does not include, climbers, lock ons, ect. You just cant build one over 16 feet and hunt from it. I thought that was weird.
As for the 16 foot restriction, that applied to all stands. Just recently they changed that to exclude portables, and climbers. This state has the most messed up hunting regs!
As far as I know 2004 was one year where albino's were protected. I found nothing about them being illeagal for 2006. Remember I work at the Sheriff's Office... [:D]

Your not kidding.. seeing that stuff made me go back and read thru all of our regulations and I noticed some changes also. Nothing that affects me but some changes none the less.

OK, here's a good one, it states in this paper that it's illegal. Since I have the rest of the day I made a call and talked to a DNR agent. It is perfectly legal to kill albino deer in Minn, so my partner (who shoots a H#$t) is correct.
I guess piebalds should be protected for 1/2 the season[:D][:D]
Congrads on a great deer very unique. gonna be a great mount...[;)]
That's pretty neat. Full body mount? Any idea what that's gonna run them?
Around $1500 and up .... here in MT.
legal or not he should have passed on him
Why explain yourself[?]
Good looking deer I wouldnt of shot him!
Why the hell not.
