I am got till jan 31 saw 8 deer the other night got busted the wind shifted. I pretty sure I can kill 1-2 deer with the bow before the season ends.

Saw 3 on Sunday... no shot though. Will be out seomt his weekend but its supposed to be in the 70s. With all the crap going on next week... having this party and that party not sure how much I will get in then. I will be out Christmas weekend.

Found a picture of the "big boy" I was waiting for in the local paper. Local girl got him first week of gun season. I still have the late season between christmas and 13 Jan. Took a doe but it was with the rifle.

nope, but I might do some hog hunting over Christmas break if I get the chance. Damn wild hogs have taken over the area where we farm.

Plan on doing some more @ Christmas time. But, with my son shooting 2 and me 1 I don't really need the meat. We are going to try our luck making brats with it though.

Still tryin for a buck, I have this weekend of regular gun season, then bow season, and after Christmas we get muzzleloader for a few days. If I haven't killed a buck by then I'm probobly screwed[:(]

Gonna try to get out with the bow this weekend. I still have my 2 tags to use for the late season doe hunt in Jan. Second half of IL shotgun season was cut short from the ice storm/power outages.

Got a buncha energizer bunnies on here don't we, just keep going and going.
I still have two doe tags to deal with. Sure have been lucky with this mild winter so far.
