Original Allen Compound Bow

I have a friend that has an original (numbered item) Allen compound bow. Allen is the man that invented the compound bow. Is there any collector interest in a bow like this?

    Allen did not invent the compound. He was the first for production. I dont know the name of the actual inventor but it wasnt him. just a little info.. keep up the great work..

    I'm not an archer and I don't know anything about bows, thats just what my freind told me. Thanks for the info anyhow. I would still like to know if there is any collector interest in this bow. They told my freind at Cabelas that it might be worth as much as 5 grand. Would like to hear from others.
