I've seen those in catalogs. They look awesome. Man, in low light, it'd be nice to see what sapling I hit. It'd also be helpful in finding first blood on a bad hit when the arrow might have been plugging the wound channel. I think It'd be money well spent.

How much do they run I might pick up a pack to try, I am a little hesitant to add weight to the back of my arrows, but I would like to try them out. How do they effect arrow flight Buckeyboy?

[8D]My arrow flight was not affected at all the only weigh 22 grains you may have to lower your sight 1/8 inch at most I know your shooting a fast bow, you may not see any affect at all .They cost $9.00 each or a pack of three for $26.00. You wont be sorry I was leary but my curosity got the best of me and boy I was impressed. I diden't want to stop shooting the look so cool going down range. at last shooting light in the woods I would bet you could see it at 100 yards easy.

100 yards away? Wow. Wonder if there are any laws against using them? Here in Ohio you are not allowed to have any light or laser attached to your bow. These being attached to the arrow sounds like a loop hole to me..

[:D]The same laws apply in RI but I diden't check to see if thre is a law againt them as they are not lit till they leave the bow. It's more of a recovery tool as iI see it. I think it will account for a lot more animals recovered. or perhaps not pushed to early on a marginal hit. Buy at least on and try it i think you will be pleased. You can even see the light in the day.

In Illinois they specifically mention 'electronic arrow tracking devices' being illegal. I wonder if these would be also. I wonder if a GW would know what they were, or even care.

I believe they are refering to transmitter type devices.

I think at the time it was written that's what they were referring to. I just wonder if this device could be included under the same law, without the law being modified.

How many of you actually see game wardens when you hunt? I have saw two my entire life, while I was hunting. One in west Virgina, he decided to walk back into our camp and snoop around. I snuck up on him before I realized what he was, he about got a can of whoop * snooping through our stuff. Then one in Ohio, had deer all around my stand so instead of scaring them I waited, it was almost 9 when I left the woods and he was standing beside my truck waiting....just told him what I was doing and he didn't seem to mind. My arrows were in the quiver when I walked off the hill.

[8D] Hey if you guys want to see some short video on the computer punch in lighted arrow nocks then click on tracer nocks they have some short videos of the nocks in action pretty cool. How would a game warden even know unless the nock was lit at the time. you can't tell the difference by looking at it they appear like an ordinary nock.

Only thing I see wrong with the nocks is if you have pass through you'll see the nock on the ground instead of headin through the woods with yer deer. Granted it would be easier retreiving arrows and seeing what kind of blood you left on it, but what good will it do findin a deer at that point?

Late nights looking for first blood on an unknown hit it would be priceless. If you could just find that darn arrow and see that it's clean you could go back to camp and finish eating/drinking. But, we don't give up, until we find arrow or blood, unless we've spent at least 2 hours looking. It would also help see where you hit it, so you know if you should track or wait.

Usually by looking at you arrow you can determain what kind of hit you have, this will allow you to decide weather or not to track or lay up and wait most deer that I have seen lost have been pushed too early, I also wait after after any hit at least1/2 hour and is sometimes completly dark when I climb down. I have had a heck of a time finding my arrow This will at least help with that possible save some $$$ Probley would pretty to to see it in a deer running through the woods then just stop. boy that would be exciting.
