Again; just as you think you have taken the big one, a new world record non
typical comes out of Wisconsin. Taken by an Amish kid with a homemade
long bow.
Pardeeville Amish Buck
This buck was taken by a 14 year old Amish boy near Dalton WI. He used a
hand made long bow and made the killing shot by stalking the huge buck
using corn shocks for cover. The Boy's family would not allow him to pose with
the trophy animal for pictures so a nearby neighbor, Willie Flacid posed and is
also acting as spokesman for the Amish boy.
According to Flacid, the Amish family has already received several offers
from outdoor sporting companies to purchase the trophy. No dollar amount
has been announced yet, but according to Flacid, "the amount of money being
offered "is enough that no one would ever be hard up again".

The pictures you posted were shown in a Ohio hunting magazine last month or the month before of this deer.
Good catch suspension. This is the second time we have seen this buck with the wrong state in it. According to bang's newspaper, it was hit by a car.
Guess the jokes on me. I though it was a real deal.[:p]

yeah, and at least one of the pictures was on the ohio dnr website at one time.

That's for sure. Illinois is getting bad about using stories from other states. I saw another newspaper article that said a bear was killed in Illinois around Decatur. Turns out it was a Michigan or Minnasota story. I don't believe anything I read in the papers anymore but now what I see on the internet is 100% truth[:D].
