My turkey hunt this morning

Well, in a nut shell, it sucked! We had a weather front move in and it was VERY windy and I couldn't hear a thing. I kicked two off the roost 75 yards from where I parked. That surprised me! Didn't know they ever roosted there. Then walked up on a two more in a logged out area that was thick. They saw me before I saw them and it was game over. I did see one that I tried to set up on and I was in a good spot but he didn't think so. He never came in. But hey, it's only the first day of the season. I may switch tatics and hunt closer to fields tomorrow. IF the weather is better.

    Well Slash poopty weather here for the next 2 days. That storm is moving way too slow but we need the rain for the morels.
    Heck if we got something every time out everybody would be hunting.
