Finally got the go ahead from the boss(wife) to book my whitetail trip to canada. Wah hoo! Will prob be my last trip anywhere for a while. About to have a new addition to the family.[:D]

Where in canada? My family used to go up north of Vermillion Bay in northwest Ontario about every year fishing and Ive been dreaming of when I get the chance to go on a moose or whitetail hunt up there (in addition to the fishing).

The whitetail hunts are in Dryden, Ontario. He also has bear, moose and fishing just north of Terrace Bay. Monster brookies! Check him out northernwoodslodge.com. Great people.

Dryden is where we would buy our groceries. I like the town itself but it smells like a dirty gymsock from the paper processing plant on the river there. Btw, congrats on the coming family addition, I completely missed that in your first post.

Thanks. The huge whitetail that was illegally killed a couple years ago was shot 1/4 mile from his place.

Good god. You could make baseball bats out of the main beams. I remember reading about that but never seeing the pics.
