PSE X FORCE - ROCKS !

FEENIXFEENIX Member Posts: 10,559 ✭✭✭
(Blasphemy) - I mean no disrespect to all, esp those that are very loyal to other than PSE. I have an old Browning Vortex that I bought in 1992 - still works for me but am thinking of giving it to my 15 yr old son - sounds like a good excuse to upgrade [:p].

Anyway, I have read some pretty good reviews and ran across these couple of footages ...

Again, I mean no disrespect to all the loyals ... but what's your honest and unbiased opinion.

Thank you in advance.

wow that was pretty cool. I dont know that you can compare bows by speed alone. although that bow was impressive. it's how it feels all around have you shot one personally. or just saw the video.[?]

PSE makes a good line of bows. I haven't shot the X force so I can't really give an opinion on it. I've read some good reviews though.

More info on PSE X- force (Source: bowhunting - NAHC (Jun Jul edition) by Bill Winke:

The X Force HF bow is blazing fast. Although every feature on it is designed for speed, it has an amazingly soft feel. I tested PSE Founder Pete Sheley's personal 70-draw X Force HF at the recent ATA Show and teased him that I was going to dry-fire it to see how strong it was. He cringed. I expected to be cringing too after I shot the high-speed bow, but I was shocked by how little recoil it produced. It was sizzling fast, and reasonbly quiet, but what really fired me up was how comfortable this bow is to shoot.

The X Force HF gets its speed from places: the new Hybrid Fast Cam and its 6-inch brace height. I believe this bow is not one for novices, but it's a solid choice for experienced archers.

    Some price comparison

    Bow / Retail price
    PSE X Force HF $799
    Matthews Drenalin $849
    Hoyt Vectrix $649-$749
    Bowtech Guardian $799

Ok why did they shoot at the top of the gel with the X-force and with the blades open on the broadhead?
I'll still use my Mathews Thank You.
