First day bowhunting... ever.

So this morning I hit the woods for opening day deer season in WA and what do you know, it starts raining like crazy. I am trying to hunt early before I gotta be at work and I am getting soaked even through my rain gear. I didn't see anything but it was still a blast.

My bow got completely drenched so I wiped it down and its laying out in my truck now. Now my question is this, what precautions/maintenance do I need to preform to keep this puppy ship-shape? I don't want it rusting on me(if that is possible).

Thanks.

I would make sure it is wipped down very good, completly dry all over and put a couple of drops of oil on the cams and wheels where they role to make sure the shaft does not make any noise cause by a light film of rust.

hornet told ya all that you have to do

My old man's backhand used to land,
Hard on the side of my head.
I just learned to stay out of his way.
    There's been streetfights, blue lights,
Long nights with the world sittin' on my chest:
It just showed me how much I could take.
    Hard times, bad luck.
    Sometimes, life sucks.
    That's all right, I'm ok.
It ain't nothin' but another day.
