I don't think he could make a fortune as state laws limit him to only a couple of bucks. [:D]

I got out for a little last night I saw 6 does and 2 fawns my weekends have been a little tied up with salmon fishing as they are making their way up the ausable river right now. I have a full week dedicated to hunting coming up here rather quick, so I am looking forward to that. It was kind of funnay with the season opening last friday I was up in Oscoda with a fishing rod and no bow [:0]. To make matters worse with the month of september being as dry as it was the river was down about 2 feet from normal so all the fish were held up out by the mouth in lake huron. They didn't release water from the foote dam until sunday the day I was leaving. I talked with a buddy of mine who lives up there he has told me the river is back up to normal and the fish are starting to run now. He caught 3 on monday. I am hoping thios weekend will not be a wasted one, never the less I am bringing my bow with me regardless.

My O my, what am I going to do with you Buckey? The caine thing is a bit of a secret[:I]... hint hint[:o)]
Ben thanks for carring, especially since I've been buying bottles the last couple weeks. ouch [B)]

Not making any fortunes, that's for sure. Just been busy lately...let's see what all has happened since I last visited all you crazy cats on here. Dog still ain't no champion retriever, but still trying to train every spare minute. Told the old lady the other week that we should get married before Chistmas, she jumped on that so I will be tied the 23rd of this month.[:0] It's been a long time coming so I'm good with it, she definately waited on me long enough [:D]
Been hunting some, never as much as I'd like though. Last weekend I was out both days all day(season opened last Sat), then I left work and went in late three times this week so I could get some hunting in. All I've seen so far is small bucks and a buncha does. I hunted both days last weekend down where I saw that big dude a while back, Sunday I only saw two does ALL day, wow was my a%$ sore from sitting. Never even saw a set of horns within range of my stand down there so I'm not going back there for a while anyway.
Work has been crazy lately to so I'm not sure how much that is gonna effect my special hours later down the rode, been hard making up time that I missed this week and keeping up with extra projects. Guess I might have to decide between hunting through the week or else working, okay I decided I'll hunt [;)]
Well I need to go check out some of these other posts, might need my expert opinion somewhere[^][:p][xx(] not.[:D]
    Later, Jay

    Sus'...

...good to see your still kickin'. Sorry to hear about the sore * but, would you have it any other way??! Good luck maintaining your priorities and keeping hunting where it should be...at the top!

A big congratulations on your upcoming vows. You have apparently tagged a dandy! I sure did, I married a city girl from MI who adapted to my outdoor lifestyle...thank you Lord! Doesn't even seem too disturbed that my 13 month old lil' hunter says "deer" & "turkey" but, has yet to really say "momma".

Congrats on the up coming vows, ya gonna have a camo wedding?[:D] If I were you i'd go to keg beer, that way it'd be harder for her to throw at ya[;)] Here I thought Susp had gotten feeling bad about hookin all those deer and he was away helping them kick the habit.

    thanks everyone.

Lmbhngr, your little hunter comment has me smiling. Sure is good mom is understanding on that. [:)]

Ben, I'm normally honest anyway [8D]......hope she doesn't expect me not to look at the cuties anymore [:0] Guess I better clarify that before everything is said and done. [;)][^]

No camo wedding taco, I get my way a lot, but I'm fairly sure that would be out of the question. [:D] I can't afford to keep a keg around, tried that before and it cost to much. Ended up with more guys stopping to "visit" and not many of them dropping anything into my coffee can keg fund. So I sold the fridge and tap, some of the regulars haven't been around since then either. [xx(]
Actually, we are only having parents, grandparents, brothers, and sisters there for the wedding then a small dinner afterwards for everyone. That was my idea and she thought is was a good idea to. We're both 29 so a huge family wedding is sorta ridiculous, especially since we already have everything we need, not everything we want though[;)] I figure I wouldn't get any new guns or bows out of a wedding gift anyway. [:D]
