Crosshair Jr. (Nathan)bagged another 7 Pt. Buck Tuesday afternoon here in the Buckeye State ; similar size body but a smaller antler than his 7 Pt. with crossbow of last year. Also had 2 tines broken off.Stopped this one with his .410 N.E.F. Slug Gun

Last year was his first deer ever. This is his 4th year of Deer Hunting.I think he really knows how to hunt them now.Think I'll start following him into the woods. (Pic. from last Bow Season)

well he has shot as many bucks as i have at a third of the age good job

My old man's backhand used to land,
Hard on the side of my head.
I just learned to stay out of his way.
    There's been streetfights, blue lights,
Long nights with the world sittin' on my chest:
It just showed me how much I could take.
    Hard times, bad luck.
    Sometimes, life sucks.
    That's all right, I'm ok.
It ain't nothin' but another day.

Yes, I am proud. I get more excited for the boys than I do for myself. I would rather see them get the bucks. He lost interest in deer hunting last year after he killed his first one. He does not like the cold and does not have patience to sit still for very long. After I brought my buck home this year and he seen the size of it he said he wants one like it. Something kicked into him. He sat most of the day monday and tuesday and it payed off and he knows it. I told him you can't kill them in the living room. I think he's in the groove now. He wants to go back this weekend for his doe and I'm gonna get my collar back on and see if I can't get something moving for him, s.gun and a. gun. [:D]

Been hunting since october, still only seeing the deer...ain't killin em! Had a really nice buck bust me back in gun season, missed my chance on him. That will add up to two deer that I have missed out on this season. By muzzleloader season "If it's brown, it's goin down!" Congrats Nathan, Nathan has been hunting hard since his dad nailed a nice buck in bow season...I think it would be best for me to hunt very close to him.
