when its cold out like in the teens dont hang a deer outside or it will freeze solid when you go to cut it up leaving you drinking beer and Bu..llshi..itting with your frinds as your deer thaws by an open oven. headzilla who didnt get to eat fresh sausage or steaks tonight because of frozen deer [:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!]

My old man's backhand used to land,
Hard on the side of my head.
I just learned to stay out of his way.
There's been streetfights, blue lights,
Long nights with the world sittin' on my chest:
It just showed me how much I could take.
Hard times, bad luck.
Sometimes, life sucks.
That's all right, I'm ok.
It ain't nothin' but another day.

Did that one year.Brought this Buck Home from a West Virginia Hunting Trip and left it hang a couple days cause I was tired and had to be at work.Well now he was about 8 Ft. long and stiff as could be.

I had an enclosed dirt crawl space under my house.Balanced him on the kids wagon and wheeled him under there and ran a space heater under there for a day or so to thaw him.

I can see the frustration you would get when you go to cut and it is frozen, but I see the benefits from drinking beer and BSing with friends too![:D]

Dead deer, killin' beer and good friends! Sounds like a good holiday season.[^]

I always thought it was saws-all, cause there is nothing it cant cut. except frozen deer.

I've resorted to a Stihl chainsaw before to remove legs and heads, we had quit a few to butcher though. I've never had one froze clear through before, always skin them then wrap with cheese cloth then wrap with something else and keep then in the garage or barn out of the direct elements if it is that cold. Here in Ohio we don't get to cold. [8D]

Friend of mine, and myself were pretty serious Rabbit Hunters at one time.Had a couple times where we faired real well.Used a Meat Cleaver to chop their little leg's and heads off.Saved a lot of time.

Thought this was another good tip.

sus the scary part is that they were skinned and hanging in a garage { I miss typed before} mind you it wasnt heated but they froze solid over night. it was about 10 over night so it was pretty cold
