I heard Horton had a large recall on their crossbows, Do they have their problems fixed? Should I be looking at a Ten Point instead?

    What have you heard about a recall?I have never heard of any complaints on a Horton.I have a Horton Crossbow.Know quit a few that do.


    1-Powder
    2-Patch
    3-Ball
    4-Remove the Rod
    5-Do Not Forget the Cap.

    Gander Mountain has a flyer posted one the models recalled and it is a lot of the newer ones. something to do with the wheels I think. I think they stood behind their product, but have heard little about it.

    You are right they did recall them. As for a ten point dont waste your money. You are just buying a name. You can get just as good of a Crossbow for 1/2 the price. Look at Barnett they are faster and more quite and 1/2 the price of the ten point bows.
