This is a C&P, I thought it was worth the read.
It's the glow of the time ticking away in the dark on the drive there.
It's the ding of the lights going off as you bounce down that back road.
It's the first step in the crisp morning air.
It's the deep breathe you take knowing what is to come.
It's straping on your release, grabbing your bow and saying good luck to your partner.
It's the walk to the stand in the moonlight hours.
It's the waiting and peaceful noises you listen too.
It's the thought of any situation running through your mind.
It's the sight of a hoof then a leg, then a whole body and head.
It's the adrenaline of the encounter and the sheer amazement.
It's the timing that your bring your bow up and slowly draw.
It's all of your hours of practice and work coming down to one moment.
It's the shot and sight of the arrow slipping in behind the shoulders.
It's the smile that you can't control even though no ones around.
It's the time you have to take before being calm enough to climb down.
It's the tracking of your prize
It's the sight of seeing that white hair and the "victory run" to your animal.
It's the kneeling down and checking out every inch of gods creature that he blessed you with.
