I went for a walk tonight around the happy coyote den. Before I even got into the woods one broke out of a patch of cut corn and into the woods. I made my way around to the other side of some standing corn he wasnt there. Walked into the woods and there he was. He had two options run down hill, or back into the corn but he made the wrong choice when I whisled and he stopped at 20 yards. A wsm .300 did its job. I blew it in half big blood stain on a tree it looked cool. Maybe that will be a lesson to the others. I saw another one at 100 yards right after that but he was moving and I didnt get a shot Ohh did I mention they have been playing near my neighbors house with little kids. Im worried one of them might attack

What is sad is when I can remember when I started hunting I saw rabbits, and squirrel everywhere, I haven't seen a rabbit in a year. When we go rabbit hunting we might as well just saw we are pheasant or squirrel hunting. We have a field around 300 yards up hill tot he rest of the area we hunt, its big high and a long walk, thats where I see the most coyote sign, whats the best way to hunt them?
